After we finished Cubic Mambo and Partner David Judelson and I submitted a proposal for a public work in a high-school in Alaska. The project called for artwork to fill three locations in a large atrium space, the school's indoor commons. Additionally, in order to counter the long months of winter darkness bright artifcicial daylight was to be provided through a large circular window in the Southwestern corner of the space. Our proposal was for three inter-related elements: Cloudbank, Aurora and Oculus. We decided that for this proposal I would provide the concepts and he would draw them. With his background as an architect David is a wonderful draftsman. Please enjoy his drawings.
